Introducing the New Hexa-Flex Modular Prosthetic Wrist Joint and the New Hexa-Flex Lamination Style Wrist Joints!
Using the same patented multi-directional inter-locking hexagonal positioning ball concept, I was able to create a wrist joint that allows the user to position and lock their terminal device into any angle between 0 and 45 degrees around the 360 degree center axis. It also allows you to then rotate the terminal device 360 degrees around that new angles axis point. These wrist joints also feature a free-swing setting which allows the wrist to rotate freely inside it's spherical socket. The wrist was made for both the original Hexa-Flex Modular Prosthetic Arm System and for Traditional Lamination style body powered forearm's. The wrist joint is removable from either style forearm for servicing and repairs. The 35mm Hex Ball lamination style wrist joints fit 50mm and 54mm sockets and a 25mm Hex Ball lamination style wrist joint (coming soon) will fit a 40mm and 45mm forearm socket.

The Hexa-Flex Advantage
The Hexa-Flex Arm is truly unique among prosthetics. Its Patent Pending design features a hexagonal ball mount paired with an open-faced handle, offering exceptional positioning capabilities. Inside the handle, multiple locking pins can be easily disengaged using a pull knob, allowing for smooth maneuvering of the handle around the entire hexagonal ball mount. Once the pull knob is released, the forearm locks securely into any desired angle. Additionally, the pull knob can be locked in the open position, providing a free-swinging option for increased versatility.
The Hexa-Flex is designed with a modular approach, allowing you to easily add or remove joints, forearms, adapters, and prehensors. This flexibility enables users to customize their prosthetic to suit different activities and functions with ease.
Built to be strong, secure, and lightweight, the Hexa-Flex features a body made from 3D-printed sintered aluminum, coated with a DuraCoat™ finish for enhanced durability and customization options. Weighing in at just 9.7 ounces*, makes it one of the lightest joints in the industry. The use of stainless steel components ensures its strength and provides water resistance** for added reliability in various conditions.

Features

Hexagonal Ball Mount
The Patented hexagonal patterned mounting ball uses strong hexagon shaped channels to create a secure and versatile interlocking pattern around the entire surface.
Open Faced Handle Design
This unique handle shape creates an extended range of positioning in a compact but sleek design and the wrap around pull knob makes operating the joint simple and easy to grasp.
Multiple Locking Pins
The internal locking bolt connected to the pull knob uses multiple locking pins spread out over an area of the hexagonal ball to create a strong interlocking connection at any angle.
Lightweight and Strong
Constructed out of high strength 3D Printed and Sintered Aluminum and using all stainless steel locking pins and hardware makes the joint strong, lightweight and water proof*.
Standardized Connections
The hexagonal ball mount has a 1/2-20" threaded male connector and the handle end contains a 1/2-20" threaded female adapter to accept forearm extensions or terminal devices.
Customizable
The high-strength Enamel finish offers multiple color combinations. We can also adjust the size of the threaded connectors to accommodate non-standardized sockets and prehensors.
